Dr. Kevin Baharvand DMD MS — Board-Certified Orthodontist, National Speaker, Published Researcher

Dr. Kevin Baharvand is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics — a distinction held by fewer than 40% of orthodontists in the United States. He graduated at the top of his class from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the most prestigious national dental honor society. Upon completing his orthodontic residency at Jacksonville University, he was among fewer than 5 orthodontic residents in the entire United States to simultaneously earn a Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics alongside two master’s degrees. He was further inducted into three additional honor societies: Phi Kappa Phi, Omicron Delta Kappa, and Beta Gamma Sigma.

Dr. Baharvand serves on the Editorial Board of Orthotown Magazine and is a national speaker on clear aligners and practice management, regularly invited to lecture fellow orthodontists across the country. His interview on the Dentistry Uncensored Podcast has been viewed in over 50 countries worldwide. In 2018, at the AAO Annual Session in Washington D.C., his treated patient was displayed before orthodontists from around the world. His patient Sasha was featured on the cover of the American Journal of Orthodontics and Craniofacial Orthopedics — the highest credited orthodontic journal in the world.

Dr. Baharvand is also the published author of Daddy on Duty: Soccer Game — a children’s book about teamwork, perseverance, and the bond between a father and his child.

Dr. Julia Kang DMD DDS — Dual Degrees, Harvard Externship, JCO Award Finalist

Dr. Julia H. Kang holds two dental degrees from two countries — a DDS from Seoul National University College of Dentistry, the most prestigious dental school in South Korea, and a DMD from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated at the top of her class. Between her two degrees, she completed a clinical externship at Harvard University School of Dental Medicine. She was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society and was named a finalist for the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics Resident of the Year Award — one of the most competitive honors in orthodontic residency training nationally.

Before pursuing dentistry, Dr. Kang trained as a classical pianist at Seoul Arts Academy. The discipline, precision, and eye for detail she developed as a musician now inform the way she approaches every smile — not as a clinical problem to solve, but as a work of art to create.
