We will send your paperwork ahead of time so you can complete everything from the comfort of your home. This way, your actual consultation is spent face-to-face with our doctors, not filling out clipboards in the waiting room.

Please bring the decision-maker with you. When clinically appropriate, many families choose to begin treatment the same day. There is never pressure to start, but we make it easy so you do not have to take another day off work to come back.

We Put a Lot of Care Into Every Consultation
Our consultations are thorough. Before you even walk in, our team has already verified your insurance benefits, built a personalized treatment breakdown, reviewed your forms, and prepared the doctor’s time so that every question you have can be answered in one visit. That is why we ask that the decision-maker comes along when possible, so your family has everything needed to move forward confidently.
Because of the preparation that goes into each visit, we kindly ask for advance notice if you need to reschedule. We offer one complimentary consultation per patient in most cases. If an appointment is cancelled last-minute or rescheduled with short notice, a small fee may be applied to cover the time and prep work our team has already invested. We try our best to be flexible, and we appreciate the same courtesy in return.
Complex Cases
More involved evaluations, such as orthognathic (surgical) cases or multidisciplinary treatment planning that requires coordination with other specialists, may require a consultation fee. These visits take significantly more time and planning, and we will always let you know upfront if yours falls into this category.

What’s Included in Your Free Consultation
Digital Scan, Photos & X-rays
A quick, non-invasive 3D scan of your teeth along with clinical photos. When clinically needed, we also take a panoramic and/or cephalometric X-ray so the doctor has a complete picture of your teeth, roots, jaw, and growth patterns. No goopy impressions.
Clinical Exam by the Doctor
Dr. Baharvand or Dr. Kang personally evaluates your teeth, bite, airway, and jaw growth, and explains their findings in plain English.
Honest Treatment Recommendation
We will tell you whether you need treatment now, later, or not at all. If braces are a better fit for your case than clear aligners, we will say so, and vice versa.
Insurance Breakdown for Your Plan
We collect your insurance information and build a treatment breakdown so you can see exactly how your benefits apply. See our insurance section below for important details on how we handle filing.
